Responsibilities:

• • development of coverage plan and production of all entertainment reports

  • resource procurement and negotiation with publicity/marketing units of various movie, record, theater and public relations organizations

  • production (including interviewing, studio, field, remotes, graphics, editing)

  • coordination on all entertainment-related stories (e.g. Business, Human Interest, etc.)

Accomplishments:

• • established a distinctive, high quality "signature" for entertainment coverages, through optimization of available resources and the use of superior production techniques

  • consistently outperformed competition, by being first and/or best on stories

  • greatly expanded scope of coverage, to include far more topical, music, theater and feature/profile coverages and "ratings grabber" series

  • cultivated highly favorable working relationships within the entertainment industry
